Fred Travalena was an American singer, songwriter, entertainer, actor and comedian, who was born in The Bronx, New York on 6th October, 1942 died yesterday on Sunday 28th June, 2009.
Fred Travalena spent his early childhood in Long Island then movied to L.A to pursue his career, he started his career as a comedian back in 1970 on “The ABC Comedy Hour”. He was a talented person with lot of voice recognitions in numerous cartoon series. He has also appeared on several different children programs. Fred Travalena has also made several guest appearances in many game shows and theatrical programs from 1970 to 1990. Fred hosted “Anything for Money” a game show from 1980’s, in which competitor attempt to guess how much money would it take an common person to participate in a stupid stunt. Fred Travalena received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2005.
Fred Travalena has been fighting with “Non-Hodgkin’s” Lymphoma for past seven years. Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is like a cancer in this disease that affects the cells of lymphocytes. The cells divide unusually.
Fred Travalena died on June 28, 2009 in Las Vegas; his death was first reported on his personal website.His funeral will be announced soon and will be open to the public.
