John Paul Stevens made Supreme Court history, witnessed Babe Ruth’s called shot home run in 1932 World Series
Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, who will retire this summer, holds the score card from the 1932 World Series game of the New York Yankees vs. the Chicago Cubs that hangs in office in Washington, Friday, Sept. 21, 2007. Justice Stevens is a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and was at the game when Babe Ruth pointed to the outfield and hit the run in the series.
