50 years ago the Cape Cod National Seashore was established. That in mind, the park is celebrating with a year-long fest of films, music, special events and art exhibitions. 1 popular event slated for the winter is a film series at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham, where a classic grouping of flicks will be shown.
First up on the schedule is the musical “West Side Story,” screening Jan. 16. Then the shots are heard when “The Guns of Navarone” shows on Jan. 23. Bringing some class to the scene is “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” on Jan. 30. The shouts are heard again on Feb. 6 when “El Cid” plays, then family is the name of the game on Feb. 13 when “The Parent Trap” screens. Next up is that doggone fave “101 Dalmatians” on Feb. 20.
All films are free, and all show on Sundays at 1:30 p.m. on the big screen.
