Motorola Parades Its Android Army Of 6 New PhonesThe Motorola Spice XT300 is a vertical slider just like the now-outdated Palm Pre. Provided with a 4-row QWERTY keyboard and a three inch QVGA touch screen display the phone looks really stylist. Just like the Citrus, Bravo, Flipside and Flipout, the Moto Spice runs Google’s Android 2.1 operating System. The Motorola Droid Pro for Verizon is the only Moto to come with the Android 2.2 Froyo. The Droid is an out of the box Moto phone.
The latest Moto Spice XT300 includes WiFi 802.11 b/g, 3G, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, 3MP camera, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. The phone also supports MicroSD card. Motorola keeping up with the Go Green slogan has 25% of the phone made out of “post consumer recycled plastics.”
The Moto Spice will be available starting this quarter. However, no ward is spoken about the pricing of the phone. Apparently Brazil is going to be 1st. When speaking of Brazil, Motorola has announced to launch its rugged Defy in Brazil, too. It also has plans of bringing it to Europe and the U.S. as well.
